Fall

I actually don't mind fall. It's a beautiful time of year when the leaves start turning, you can bundle up and go for long walks, and not feel bad for curling up on the couch with a book and a cup of hot chocolate. Unfortunately, standing in the way of such enjoyment is the fact that you just know that winter comes next. Fall is like the Sunday of the work week - you're still off, but you can't quite enjoy it because you know Monday is creeping ever closer.

Inara and I are on our own today with Andrew at his "Swedish for immigrants class" and my mom out hunting for mushrooms. The class is only once a week on a day he's off from regular classes and because he signed up late, he's basically getting private tutoring with only two other students from Turkey and Uzbekistan. He apparently knows the most Swedish of the three and tries to help explain to the other two what the teacher is saying. I'm imagining there is a lot of confusion going on in that classroom.

Today I'm posting some pictures of my mom's house (where we're staying), my mom with Inara, my dad with Inara and just a bunch of random Inara pictures (a few might be repeats for some of you).

Also, be sure to give my good friend Rebecka's new song a listen! It's above this post because I have no idea how to make it be anywhere else. Perfect fall music.
