Winter is now definitely in the air and I've had a bout of the flu (I think), but thankfully everybody else stayed healthy. Not much has been going on. Andrew has spent some long hours at school and I've finally managed to get Inara to take daytime naps in her bed. It takes about 15 minutes to get her to sleep for 30, so I figure that's mostly a win. We met up with an aunt who I haven't seen for lots of years and who is also moving back to the island. Conditions have been perfect for mushrooms this fall so my mom has been busy picking a ton of chanterelles while Andrew has been picking even more walnuts (that's what's in those stockings in the previous post in case there was any question). Inara didn't cry this week at the song group, so maybe she does enjoy it after all. I'm still trying to catch her smiling on film, but no luck. However, she does enjoy playing Voltron Force with her dad as you can see in the video which will be added shortly.
