I have realized that babies who crawl:

- Will not be where you last saw them if you turn your head for more than three seconds.
- Know that they can now get to what they want if mom or dad would just let go already.
- Are drawn to dirty shoes, cords and toilet brushes as by a magic force.
- Have no intention of stopping, ever.
- Need tiny shoes so they can do the above outside the house.

  1. This is when the serious baby-proofing begins. All I can do is wish you good luck because we haven't figured it all out in the last few months and ours is about to move up to walking.
